CBR Research & Innovation

Cord Blood Registry has been committed to scientific research since its inception. For more than a decade CBR has served as a leader, collaborator and advocate to advance the greater scientific understanding of cord blood stem cells. CBR provides research grants, cord blood stem cell samples, and other forms of research support to leading physicians and medical researchers focused on cord blood stem cells and regenerative medicine. In addition, CBR, along with our Scientific Director, Dr. David Harris has published one of the largest bodies of information regarding cord blood stem cell processing and cryopreservation.

CBR is committed to innovations in improving cord blood banking technology as well as helping to develop the uses of cord blood in regenerative medicine - the use of one's own stem cells to repair or replace damaged or diseased tissue.
