Corporate Stability

Banking your baby’s cord blood is a long-term investment in your family’s health. CBR has demonstrated the long-term corporate stability necessary to safeguard this valuable resource for your family should you need it.

  • CBR has generated positive cash flow from operations since February of 1999. One of the ways we've done this is by avoiding risky research investments that may compromise long-term financial integrity. In addition, key members of CBR’s Executive Management Team have been with the company since inception, demonstrating the stability of our organization.
  • CBR's lab specializes only in cord blood stem cell processing. Our research and development investments are focused on the cord blood banking process to ensure we consistently deliver the highest quality stem cell preservation for our clients.
  • CBR's long-term affiliation with the University of Arizona, a respected institution existing for more than 100 years, also provides added security for your baby's cord blood stem cells.

Banking cord blood does not guarantee that the cells will provide a cure or be applicable for every situation. For inherited genetic conditions, the child will not be able to use his or her own stem cells. A matched sibling's stem cells would be the first choice. Ultimate use will be determined by the treating physician. Treatment for brain injury and juvenile diabetes is experimental and currently requires the use of your own cord blood. Medical treatments using family banked cord tissue are in early research and are not available today; there is no guarantee that therapies will be developed in the future.
