Processing

Shipping
Newborn stem cells are precious and we treat them that way. After your sample is collected, your kit is shipped to our lab via medical courier in our ultra-durable, temperature-protected collection kit.
Storage
Our safe and secure lab is located in Tucson, Arizona, which historically is not impacted by hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes.

CBR has special pricing available in the event of multiple births (twins, triplets, etc.). During enrollment, select the number of children you’re expecting to view our multiple birth pricing.
Select the “I will be shipping internationally” option above before proceeding. Your shipping fees will vary depending on the country we are delivering your CBR collection kit to.
Today, family banking is not an FSA or HSA eligible expense. In order for cord blood banking — or any service or product that falls under the category of “Ineligible Expense” per IRS sec 213 (d)(1) — to qualify under a plan or program, a health care professional must provide evidence of medical necessity with the infant or other family member covered under the HSA/FSA for the cost of harvesting and storing cord blood stem cells to be an eligible medical expense.
Similar to services like circumcision, your provider may charge a fee to collect your newborn’s stem cells. Please check with your insurance carrier to see if they cover this fee.
